The College sports ground is beautifully located in campus. It has well-tended football and an excellent cricket square and nets, newly refurbished hard tennis courts, also used for netball. AGM College team plays its home games at sports ground. Student Teachers are encouraged to participate in all the intercollegiate level sports in Educational Colleges in and around Erode Districts and also State level.

The department has infrastructures for the indoor games as Table tennis, Carom, Chess and Outdoor games as Volley ball, Football, Throw ball, Tennikoit, Shuttle, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Javelin, Relay and Cricket. The department is headed by one Physical Director. Activities are carried out throughout the year. The following are the facilities available in the department of Physical Education.

We have sufficient facilities in our campus for both field events and indoor games for the students to practice and to conduct the Intramural Sports.

Since our institution has 100 number of students and they utilize facilities effectively.

• Regular coaching is given to interested and talented students in sports activities by our Physical Director.


• Sports Day is celebrated regularly every year and prizes are distributed to both the winners and the runners as a way of encouragement.
