About

    Research Centre was established in our institution to kindle research attitude among students and faculty. The main objective of this resource centre is to make a competent, independent, mature and well-rounded researcher who is prepared to pursue an academic or scientific career. Also, this resource centre provides consultancy to faculty and research scholars to help them in their research work. The vision is to upgrade the present institution Research oriented institute. Our college organized various workshops seminars in the field of Teacher Education. And also, the Research cell has planned to organize various workshops and Seminars nationally and internationally.

Proposed Activities

Periodical seminars and invited lectures are organized at this centre

Every year Publish International journal on research titled “International Journal of Pedagogical Studies ( IJPS)” from August 2013 onwards annually.

National Seminar Monograph entitled on “ Diverse Perspective of Teacher Education” published in the year 2012 with ISBN: 978-93-80406-53-4, And edited by Dr. K. Sumathiral, Former Principal and Mr. A. Vaiyadurai, Assistant Professor in Physical Science

Objectives

Encourage faculty members to undertake projects that serve to advance knowledge, address societal needs, integrate applied knowledge for teaching, generate data for research, and stimulate innovation.

Affirm policies for sponsored research and consultancies.

Address potential conflicts of commitment between primary academic duties of the faculty and consultancy activities.

Safeguard the intellectual property of Avinasi Gounder Mariammal College of Education and its faculty.

Inculcate Good Research Practices based on scientific integrity and research ethics
